Based in Skåne, Sweden, Johan Torell combines over a decade of experience in visual communication with a passion for 3D, motion design and branding. With a background as both an in-house Art Director and a long-time creative freelancer, he brings the structured mindset of agency work together with the agility and dedication of self-driven production.

Johan started out by helping agencies and marketing departments craft visual identities, digital campaigns and branded content. Over time, he gravitated toward moving images, realizing the growing demand for video, animation and 3D visualization. This led to hands-on exploration and mastery of tools like After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D and Blender3D.

Today, Johan primarily focuses on high-end 3D visuals and motion content, helping companies visualize products, technologies and ideas, whether they’re simple, advanced or still in development. He works with brands across industries, delivering clear, engaging visuals that support everything from product development and marketing to internal presentations and launches. Whether it’s a still image or a full animation, Johan transforms ideas and assets into high-quality visuals.

He’s often brought in as a one-man production team, with a unique ability to merge graphic design, video editing, 3D and animation into cohesive pieces of content. At his core, Johan enjoys being part of the creative process where products, ideas and brands are brought to life, either through stills or animations that spark curiosity and make complexity feel simple.
