Form first👨🏻🔧
Every product begins as a simple form. Once the proportions and shape are right, everything else can follow — materials, color, texture, light. This is where the creative process starts, building the foundation for everything that comes next
Once the 3D model is approved, I start developing the shaders and materials that define its final look. This stage brings the product to life — the surface, reflections, and subtle imperfections that make it feel real. It’s here that the balance between design and realism is shaped, preparing the product for its final render and use in campaign visuals.
Once the model is ready, the next step is concept and art direction. In this case, the brief called for a laboratory-inspired environment. A clean and abstract scene symbolizing active ingredients and molecular energy. At this stage, ideas can be tested quickly in 3D, exploring shapes, balance, and movement long before any textures or final lighting are added.
Once the spatial concept is approved, I begin refining the scene with shaders and surface materials. This stage focuses on achieving physical accuracy — calibrating reflections, gloss, and subsurface properties to define how the product interacts with light. It’s a technical yet creative phase that bridges concept and production.
